Chinmayi Bhavanishankar

I love to spread smiles around and I LOVE to dance!

I am an Indian Classical Dancer who took up Yoga to understand my body/mind better and Bollyworks Fitness to get my stamina up so that I can continue with my classical dance. I started online classes for my friends and family in March 2020 and also completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Aham Yoga Studio in Redmond, WA later that year. So, here I am.

June 2023 Update: I am a new mom, understanding my body post baby and constantly challenging the idea that a skinny body is a healthy body. Movement, to me, is an avenue to explore, gain awareness, and strengthen our bodies and minds.

I believe that we need more Indian women in the fitness industry and while I focus on building my strength at InURLane Fitness, I want to bring energy to others through my classes. I am also a group fitness instructor at West Seattle Health Club.
